Both of these make it really hard to build muscle fast because in order to make any progress you must be consistent in working out.

They never take the time to properly plan their workouts which is the fastest way to failure.

I'm sure you've heard that if you fail to plan, plan to fail.

Imagine this... a little girl is riding her bike outside when suddenly a car comes and strikes her hard.

She's rushed to the hospital and they find out she has a broken arm.

The doctor plans to operate on her BUT HE HAS NO PLAN.

What are the chances of this girl recovering? Very slim.

But in reality, that's not how doctors operate and neither should you.

Doctors have protocols in place for handling any type of problem. Its the only way to get results.

Afterall how can you measure progress or adjust the plan if you have no plan...

If you consistently workout without a plan where do you think you'll be in the next two to three years?

No, you won't.

You need a plan for building muscle and you need to be able to stick to that plan.

In order to come up with a good plan, you need to ask yourself... what would be my ideal workout plan?

To figure that out you need to access your current situation.

Can you make it to the gym 5x a week? Or do you have access to weights at home?

Are you super busy with work that you can only fit in two thirty minute sessions a week?

When designing your ideal workout plan you want to be able to execuate on it consistently.

Otherwise, you won't see any results.
