Are protein supplements Unnecessary?
A lot of people feel like supplement companies push protein supplements down our throats.
Its common knowledge that whole food sources are better than supplements so why do so many people supplement?
For me I feel like sometimes it's the convenience.
Sometimes I'm really busy and don't have time to cook whole food.
Also, a protein bar takes less time to consume than sitting down and eating a full meal.
I think protein supplements make it easy to get the protein I need to feed my muscles during those times.
It's probably a good idea to stick to whole foods though. You'll much likely see better results in the gym due to the extra nutrients you get from whole food.
