Dangerous Ingredients In Protein Bars

There are many dangers in eating unhealthy protein bars. Lots of sugar tops the list but here are a few more reasons to eliminate bad protein bars from your diet. 

  • Soy protein (has negative effects on health)
  • Sugar (lots of sugar might not be a good idea)
  • Synthetic vitamins (just awful) 
  • No healthy fats

I recommend eating bars with 20-30 grams of sugar in moderation. For example, some MET-RX protein bars have over 25 grams of sugar.
